FWIW, the InCase hardshells are not very good as the edges near the hinges tend to come into contact. At best it means you can't open the screen all the way, at worst you end up cracking the protective case. You'd be better off trying to ditch it or ask JB if you can swap it for something else, then look for a different hardshell from another brand.
