I strongly suggest you DON'T buy this (DLC worked, but no sign I own the base game after submitting code, even Dl'ed Minecraft Xbox One Edition [free trial edition] from MS to check) - must be pre 2014 game version & so MS ignores ownership. :(

Gamesmen & JB HiFi have the physical modern Game + Starter Pack + 700 Minecoins for $39.95 ex delivery (same as Microsoft Store).

Also if you want old-school EB Games has pre-owned Minecraft Xbox One Edition (can play in Gamepass, but can't activate/buy full game from trial version - so might work??) - which is un-available & hence un-buyable from Microsoft Store.

Following seem like a good deal & DLC is working (notice graphic for base game is different, so hopefully works).

EDIT :- OK bought $11.09 Base game code - worked, now OWN 2017 Minecraft for Xbox (MS store says Owned).

Also bought Creators Pack, code worked - you need to DL inside game (Marketplace search is bajanked - use Exact capitals & spelling - wouldn't accept "Relics of the privateers" needed "…Privateers" to find it).

EDIT plz LAST ONE? Found Pastel Skin Pack by Eneija - must be my connection (Dl'ing 4 things at once, probs) so I tried spelling as "Enieja" and it found the original correct spelling about 6th in list.

Didn't buy Starter DLC - already had ($15.69 DLC & unknown/unsupported base game).

I suggest you zoom into pic of CDKeys code - it's a bit faxy looking.

    Xbox One only.

    Windows 10 is a separate edition.

  Ok, just searched - no PC version - I know it lists PC specs, but XB is sort of a PC. You have to activate through Xbox, so probably no. I don't think Play-Anywhere Gamepass is up to the task…Xbox only code.

  You can still play for free on Gamepass/XB Gold/Ultimate so buying the explorer pack code just adds the DLC add ons if you have the game.

  so the game + Explorers DLC pack indivuidally adds up to $14.38, but the pack with both together is $15.69???

  Microsoft has base game at $29.95 (no DLC) and Starter Pack (Game, DLC & 700 Mine Coins) for $39.95, but not the in-between offer.

  Also says you need Xbox Gold (or Ultimate?) for Multi-player Online Play.

  EDIT Also only received notification email at 10 am today, so maybe more sales/competitors = lower price.

    I did buy it this time :- was much cheaper at ≈ $7 last time.

    Code accepted, but when you go to both Minecraft and Minecraft Masters in Xbox/Microsoft no sign you own the game (maybe it's technically the old version - which is very hard to find - not xb360, but the last big update - before 2014).

    Also DLC is different to the latest MS version - Chinese Mythology Mashup, Natural Texture Pack, Biome Settlers Skin Pack, Battle and Beasts Skin Pack and Campfire Tales Skin Pack.

    The last 3 were already on my game, so probably free download - play game and look for (your name)'s packs & DL them.

    Oh well, I should've looked closer at details of Xbox Explorer Pack on the Microsoft website (might be so dear, 'cause it might be a physical disc that gets sent to you)
