I've been loosely following this one for a few months. It's mostly been 250-299ish, and out of stock at many places. This may not be the best price ever but I'd be tempted to pull the trigger here.
Brickhawk is a great source for watching prices of specific sets, highly recommended.

Mr Toys Toyworld $269 in stockI got it for $179 from Kmart end of last year. It was on clearance for some reason. It's a great set with lots of play features. Kept my son busy for ages and he still plays with it here and there,
It’s been cheaper recently via Catch with the 10% cashback offer, and still a little better at Catch with the current 3%.
Well yeah, by the time you buy the motor / battery/ remote + track that's gonna cost way more.
