SIM card copying. Mobile phone

Anyone know if it will work if I copy my SIM card and chuck the copied one in my iPad just for data so I don’t have to pay for 2 services. It won’t make calls . So maybe that’s enough to trick the telcos?

If you have to ask, then you don't have the ability to clone them….

Have you heard of tethering? Sharing the internet on your phone by creating a 'hotspot'?

    Lol

  • Please let us know how you go. I want to see your process for making this happen.

  • Wow why hasn’t anybody thought of this before?! Genius!

  • If you can make a copy it should work, but I think you'd run into trouble using both at the same time.

  • Not possible. Unless your sim is from 2004 and you can find a blank sim from that era as well. If you attempt to clone the sim the cell tower will see two identical identifiers (IMSI) and will either kick one off or report it.

  • I lol'ed.
