Opening Westpac's Choice Account and Credit Card Questions

Hi guys,

I tried to open a Westpac Choice account, and when i submitted the online form, a message said that Westpac will get back to me within one business day to help me open the account.

Is this a common procedure with Westpac ?
Has anyone experienced this before ?

Also, early last week, i got approved for the Westpac QF Altitude Platinum credit card.
In an email, Westpac said that i could access the digital version of the credit card via it's app.
However, since i am not a Westpac customer, can i still do this ?
