Can't Buy Certain Games on AU Steam

Hi Steam currently has a old RTS game (Kohan and Kohan 2) that I used to play the war chest is current $1.99USD but in the Aussie store it can't buy it?

I have tried to VPN to the US store but it wont let me purchase it without a US credit card can anyone help or inform me of a way I can buy it?

  Simplest way without getting others involved would be to create a US Steam account, buy a US Steam digital GC from eg Amazon or elsewhere, then gift from new US account to existing AU account. It might be possible to use Paypal on a US Steam account with an AU credit card behind it - unsure if there is a geo check involved here.

  So, in summary, not really that simple at all.

  That’s because the company that made the game (TimeGate Studios) went defunct in May 2013. Your best bet is the high seas. Even if you buy it, the money will not go where it’s supposed to go.
