I've added a poll aimed at anyone who has had first hand knowledge of the two providers.
This is the third time we've been 'sold' to another service provider with a 50% strike rate;
Mutual Community to Bupa - painless
Adam Internet to iiNet - debacle
Got an email today stating my OVO plan will switch over in the next two months.
Internet search shows this is not 'news', but first I'd heard of it.
Face value it is OK; same cost at same 30 day recharge with increased data and calls on the mini plan.
My only customer service needed from OVO was during the swap to them. I have not had any issues so never found out how good the service truly was.
I didn't use the 'extra' benefits so not going to be affected (ovoplay etc).
Unsure of how the higher rate plans are swapping (we've got four of us on the mini plan)
Parts of the email are below;

My wife and a daughter are on Amaysim, and tbh they are the only carrier that has automatically upgraded/moved them to better / cheaper plans when available. This has happen 2 or 3 times over the last few years. I've been with Optus and Telstra when have released "different" new plans that were better, but I had to request to be moved to them.
One small issue with an Amaysim bill was fixed quickly (double charged for some reason), otherwise I have never had an issue with their support, nor needed it.
