I have been wanting a stand mixer for some time but just couldn't justify the price tag associated with a KitchenAid. I think this is a good alternative for those like me. RRP $499, but currently selling for $339 other sites. I own a few Cuisinart appliances and have been happy with their performance.

Has generally good reviews and comes second to the KitchenAid in this review at half the price:
