Good guys website shows Nunawading store has stock but best to call them or JB to confirm where stock is located. Runout model so probably not a lot left in Australia.
I'm not very happy with my 65 X95.
I wouldn't buy it now after having used it for a couple of months. Just sayin'.
Out of curiosity, what are you unhappy with?
Bloom is shockingly bad. I knew it would be an issue but it's very apparent; I went for a model with local dimming to hopefully avoid it but apparently I just wasted my money :(
Also, the inbuilt Chromecast is terrible - my first-gen Chromecast dongle never missed a beat, the TV often requires a power cycle to change the source or device you're casting from.
Cast or in-built apps regularly freeze when playing media for ~2-3 seconds every 10 minutes or so. Audio continues, but picture freezes, regardless of the app or source.
The TV guide also sucked balls when I first got it (would always say "no information available" on channels) but that seems to have gone away now.
The "freeview" screen overlay that shows up when you change TV channels and then slides away also leaves an outline which is visible on bright, solid colours.
I did try and warn people, but got down voted so bad. Blooming is the reason I went with Samsung over Sony
I wish I'd seen your post first. Even RTINGS recommended it!
After watching this, I couldn't do it.
@pformag: Yep, that pretty much reflects how mine looks :(
Picked one up on Tuesday in Perth as they just received stock at the Distribution centre over the weekend and had 5 left.
They matched the 15% first responder discount so it came down to $3225Sounds like a great price, unfortunately I’m not a first responder.
Me neither, they were happy to match it though
Blooming? This is the first time I have heard of this term, had to google it to understand 😔
🤔 May have to rethink this purchase…
Yeah good choice Mate, look for other models. This Sony X95G has a bit of issues, its not worth the price for its technology. The picture quality isn't good as advertised.
@AirJordan23: Yep, gonna hold on and hopefully the next gen of Sony TVs are better
@greenlantern: I returned my Sony X95G, I'm looking at Samsung Q80T or Sony X95H
Ask at JB and they can check stock levels at stores close by and direct you to one where there is enough stock. They can also bring one over from another store after confirming your purchase.
