Is there any point to putting the submitter's username in the Twitter feed? It uses up valuable characters and doesn't really do anybody any favours as it is. My suggestions:
(a) Ideal solution: allow members to specify their Twitter handle so that tweets use their @nickname so that they get some kind of recognition
(b) Practical solution: move the username to the end of the tweet

Yeah it was just some kind of acknowledgement of whoever posting the deal. However your idea of allowing members to specify their Twitter ID would be useful as well, so when the tweet is sent out we can append that to the end of the tweet as you have suggested.
Maybe the Twitter ID needs to be verified? Or a Twitter app that lets you automatically re-tweet your own deal submission?
