has anyone still gone and purchased ASUS' Zephyrus G15 despite reviews about the overheating issue? is it true? or is it false? and if false, how much of the heat is actually bearable?

Slim laptop? Overheating? Did you also know the water is wet?
From my (unfortunate) experience, any kind of slim laptop, ESPECIALLY slim gaming laptops, are pretty useless if you plan on gaming for more than 5 consecutive minutes - massive thermal throttling.
I just looked at the images of Zephyrus G15 and I can already tell you that thing is gonna throttle like an Intel Atom CPU netbook.

I can't recommend a gaming laptop as I don't know the latest trends, but I can assure you, if you laptop isn't "thick", it's going to overheat.

    • Haha need a thicc boi! Thanks for the reply!!

I’m still deciding on the laptop, between MSI GS66 and this ASUS Zephyrus G15 one, just asking the community and any users who have experienced these because i saw the review of the ASUS one overheating but sometimes its a hit n miss 😂

    True. Should’ve bought a desktop.
Define your overheating? You felt it was hot to the touch or you saw the temperature?
If you trust your laptop’s gaming capability then get extra mouse and keyboard so you dont have to touch it. If it’s the loud fan, then, should’ve bought a desktop.

Edit: I realised you haven’t bought it yet, yeah, get a desktop 😂 if you want to game for more than 1h.

    • Thanks fam!

Yeah havent bought it yet, still deciding~ i just posted another discussion to ask about this ASUS Zephyrus G15 and the MSI GS66

MSI GS66 looking like a winner at the moment xD still need some opinions from users, but seen quite a few good reviews from like Jarrods Tech on YT

      Hmmm dilemma
