So, people were complain about there not being any posts from the people in the line.

I am currently sitting pretty in position number ten.

There are currently 32 people in the line, 10 for Teusday, 10 for Wednesday, 10 for Thursday and 2 for Friday.

The staff have all gone home but there is a security guard here at the store.

Sorry for not posting earlier, I was having fun meeting the other people in the line and getting to know them a bit. There are people from a whole range of backgrounds, a bunch of ozbargainers but also some walkups and people from other website forums etc. We have computer programers, bankers, uni students, a whole range of people from different jobs and ethnicities, its a great vibe.

The rules have been explain to us as follows:

We have ten minute toilet breaks allowed in the maccas.

We can let another person hold our spot for as long as anyone wants.

Someone has to be there at all times, you cant get one person to hold three spots, 1 person per spot.

They have taken the names of the people in the que to ensure that people don't come and push in at 7am.

At about 11 there was an issue with some gatecrashers trying to sit down at the front of the line, they got moved on after like 30 minutes, really ruined the vibe of the line. We were enjoying hanging out and they kinda ruined it.

About now most people are asleep. I am doing some study.

    I have a class at 8am, and others up until 11am, so i will probably head of. But i do want to come back in the arvo or evening, bring people blankets or stuff. Some are more prepared than others. There are some interesting people here, I wouldn't mind hanging around after, maybe I will :)

    Yes well done mate. You deserve the phone, enjoy it and glad to hear you had a great time in the process. Don't let gatecrashers be downers, thankfully they have an official list of who was where in line.

    Got here at 1:30pm. Edwardo who is at the front of the queue got here at 10:30.

    Position 20 was filled at about 5pm and position 30 was taken at somewhere around midnight.

    We still havn't pushed past 32, but i did enjoy some handball on George St a little while ago.

    Good luck. Kinda feel sorry for those in line for the rest of the week just to get a cheap phone.

    Well done jase13 for securing position number 10. Would have been a good feeling knowing that you had to queue for less than 24 hours to get the phone, as opposed to the poor guys having to wait a lot longer behind you!

    Woot.

    Just finished my shower and am now sitting back in my koine Greek class. Almost like nothing different happened last night. Except my eyes hurt and my phone is now sweet. That and i had a great time. All the best to my mates in the rest of line line, hope to see you tonight or tomorrow.

      nah.. aml do you know the rule of queuing for samsung s2?
      you can only leave your sport for 10mins, toilet or eat
      walking to cirq quay and back would take more than 10mins unless you are sprinting !

        Under the 1 person can hold a spot for 1 person rule, when the cute asian chicks come back for a bit to make sure their BF's are still in line for them they can go down and get them.
