    • Yeah agree its crap where i am. Lots of options but mostly the prices are 20% higher than on menulog, more expensive delivery etc. Way better off just using menulog or go direct.

Seems like all Chinese restaurants have jacked their prices in my area. $30 for a simple black pepper beef.

  • Ordered max $40 worth of food for $20 and picked up, no delivery fee. Restaurant still had normal prices, $13-15 for a main.

  • Great deal! My order came to $33.60 + $5.99 for delivery, only had to pay $19.79.

  • Every Chinese joint near me closed before 7, rip.

Preorder for the next couple days

      • No scheduling available, but one of the restaurants briefly reopened orders so I managed to sneak one in!

      • Interesting, so pre-ordering for a different day does work?

        • Yes.

  • First time I've ordered on uber and the order was delayed past the ETA

Ordered from Shanghai Night in Burwood. At 5:30 pm for immediate delivery, rang the driver after waiting over an hourr. He said they had a lot of orders. At 7:30pm order got canceled with no explanation. Hungry.

    • Hangry.

      The worst kind of hungry.

      • Normally I would be but I was kinda expecting it. I am a platinum uber member but I have no means of contacting anyone, not the driver (after it was canceled) no the restaurant and not uber. Feel stupid complaining about not get a discount on dinner but I would happily pay twice as much to get dinner on time. Unhappy girlfriend, time wasted, it is not worth it.

      • As a side note, my nickname is JJ and I also like to eat.

        • Cool story bro.

  • Wow so people are right. Second time i have checked prices at the restaurant when i was there waiting to pick up as opposed to what i got charged by ubereats and both times i am stunned. This time the 2 mains i got charged $45.80 (before 50% discount) was in store for $32.40. Thats a massive difference in price, if it wasnt for the discount i would be getting screwed especially if i paid for delivery. Makes me realise the times ubereats etc give like a 15% discount isnt really worth it.

  • The T&C says to add promo code to the account but it doesn't seem to work for me.. When I press add nothing happens.. But it does seem to apply the promo correctly

Anyone else having problems with entering promo code?

    • Yeah,i've got the same issue. nothing changes at checkout. reapply "oops it has already been used". tried 2 different stores too :(

  • Maximum of $20 discount for the store I tried…

Special Fried Rice is $8.90 on Menulog and $13 on Uber Eats.
Most mains are $16.50 on Menulog and $20.50 on Uber Eats.

    Going to skip this one.

  • The best deal from uber so far IMO

  • +2

    Alot of jacked up prices…

  • Uber is Ebay in disguise (both jack prices then "discount")

    Prove me wrong
