I prefer Aldi as it comes first in the alphabet, but I have a friend named Charlie who likes Coles because it is the same first letter as his name.
I guess what I am getting at is you might need to tell us what criteria are priorities to you?

  • I know nothing about oven, just think to ask if anyone has a better idea than me😂

  • As the Coles version is new, no one would have experience with it. Just compare the prices, specifications, and aesthetics.

    Coles sell ovens now?

edit: forgot to refresh before commenting… read the link above… Air fryer…I assumed huge stand alone ovens…

    • yeah they are copying aldi and have these special buys

  • I wonder how the returns policy works with Coles in comparison Aldi's is pretty good

  • Whats the difference between this and a fan forced oven?

    • The volume of air circulating compared to the volume of the oven is bigger in airfryers

Well the Coles one is cheaper and more powerful.

it's not which is better, it's which you will find in stock and available.

Personally, I love some of the Aldi's brand products… They have good value and are of good quality :)

  • I haven't seen the information released yet, so..

I can't be 100% sure and I haven't had my hands on one yet, but I believe the Coles one is roughly this if it helps:

It has 10 preset functions (this could have been changed)
    • French Fries
    • Chicken Wings
    • Steak
    • Pizza
    • Vegetables
    • Toast
    • Broil
    • Bake
    • Roast
    • Dehydrate

In the middle the controls are
    • Temperature Up/Down
    • Time Up/Down

    Right hand side
    • Light
    • Start/Stop
    • Airfry
    • Preheat

Very very right has a Power On/Off button

It has a detachable 6mm crumb tray at the bottom that can collect up to 500ml of oil. It slides out just below the door.

You can set the temperature between 38°C - 230°C

You can set the timer for up to 12 hours

    Stainless steel

    It's 25L capacity should support:
    1) a 5kg chicken
    2) 12-inch pizza
    3) 6 slices of bread
    4) 2.2kg of chicken wings
    5) 1.8kg of french fries

Trays can be placed at 4 different heights.

    Boxed up it's approximately
    W 37cm * D 30cm * H 22 cm

if you are looking for participating stores to get these best buy items they are at the back of the catalogue

  • Coles tried to turn into Aldi and fails miserably.

Was in Merrylands Coles, @7:01 am opening, it instantly sold out. They only had 3 units. 20+ queues long. Most likely hoarded by "Dick Smith" staff. Never again queuing early at Coles.
