Old Phone but I'm sure there are some of us who are still rocking a pixel 2 because it still works and there is no point wasting money on upgrading to the latest and greatest.

        Yep. 3 years in and I can just about get a full day out of it.

        Still a good phone imo. The camera is great.

        Any phone repair shop will do it for about $100 (call ahead though first). It extended my phone life by about a year, although now it's carked it.

      Still rocking a pixel 2 and battery just gets me through the day, need to charge when I get home for evening use. Pixel 4a delay is hurting me

      Mine's fine. I don't really have any complaints about it dying quickly, but I do feel it a lot when playing Mario Kart.

      I use accubattery to charge to 85% instead of 100%. Always keep it above 20%.
      Battery still strong since launch, at 95% health.
      Pixel 2XL.

    My Pixel 2Xl battery life is still pretty solid after 2 years but it's the power button that is my biggest gripe ATM. Doesn't lock the phone on first press usually, sometimes it does but typically I have to hold it down until it shows the power options then one click and the phone locks. If anyone has a fix for this would be greatly appreciated! Otherwise onto iPhone SE.

      There's an app that puts a shortcut on the home screen, you only need to tap it once and it locks the phone. I used to use it when I had a large phone with a power button at the top right that I couldn't reach without moving my whole hand position.       My power button has been pretty much non-functional for the last 6 months or so, but I remapped the squeeze function using the app Edge Sense Plus to lock the screen, which I've found to be a good solution. I've also made it so squeezing while the phone is locked and held horizontally turns on the flashlight kind of in the way that the Moto chop function works, which is super handy! Doesn't require root, I'm pretty sure the app runs you through a quick change you need to make using ADB, but here's another link just in case.

        Wow this sounds awesome! Hoping that I can still unlock using fingerprint though as the above solution apparently you must enter your code after locking with an app. Thanks so much for the insight on this. Will give this a go tonight. Cheers!

          Happy to help! Once you get the app up and running you can choose the 'Screen Off' action instead of screen lock, which behaves the same as pressing the power button in my experience (fingerprint still works, SmartLock still works, etc.)

      Same thing happened to my phone, took 1 month of back and forth but got google to send me a refurbished device. (was still just in the 2y warranty). After that I had a few issues with the refurb and they basically told me they can't do anything at all.

    Rocking a pixel 2 for 2.5 years now. Would get at max 4 SOT with battery saver on all day.

    Waiting on 4a or oneplus nord
