Oldest supported devices are the same as iOS 13:
(with the exception of watchOS 7 which drops Series 1 & 2 AW)

iOS 14

iPadOS 14

  • iPad Air 2 (Released 2014, October 24) and later
  • iPad mini 4 (Released 2015, September) and later
  • iPad Pro (all models), oldest is iPad Pro 9.7 (Released 2016, March)
  • iPad 5th generation and later

watchOS 7

  • Series 3 (Released 2017, September) and later

One good change: phone calls will now be in the form of a pop down notification, instead of taking up the entire screen.

Hopefully iPhone SE (1st gen) gets iOS 15 to at least equal the 5 years of updates that the iPhone 5S received.

  • how do you download the ispw?

    • Should be able to perform an OTA. Is your UUID authenticated?

      • (not sure what that means but) i get an error in the software settings on my phone unable to check for update

        • Are you a developer? Only developers will have access to the preview. Public beta will be released in July.

            i cant even view the software update page that should says it up to date

            • @eckers19: Can you update via iTunes using the computer?

              • @No Username: yes could update to ios13.5.1 in the computer but not in the beta mode trying to get it work now by doing a dfu

  • Good to see apple finally realise that Android has all the good features and copy them carte blanch.

  • No way… iOS gets widgets!!!… sweet!!!….
