I used to sharpen my knife/scissor at carriageworks market every saturday morning.
Sadly due to Covid19, the market close forever.
I am looking for recommendation for where to sharpen my knife/scissors.
Thank you.

Buy a kyocera CS-10-N ceramic sharpening rod. Works brilliantly. A couple of whetstones as well but the ceramic sharpening rod should be able to work even with something pretty dulled
If you live in Melbourne, there was an out of work chef that would pick up the knives from your house, sharpen them,and then return them. Quite a few people on r/melbourne were using him at the time (this was a few months ago though)
Whatever happened to the dude in Sydney with the grinder strapped to the back of his motorbike?
Here is a knife sharpener, and it comes with a knife as well,
all for a special price of $49, down from $149, a great bargainhttps://klevarange.com.au/collections/tv-deals/products/klev…
i end up getting someone dodgy in facebook market to do it for me.
and the end result is bad, my scissor now not working anymore (its feels flimsy/loose when cutting and the tip is definitely not sharp anymore)
Total cost $45…FML$4 more and you could have had a knife sharpener and a knife, next time;
I wonder if it is still on special?
Sharpening every week seems a bit extreme for most use cases.
We use https://www.facebook.com/TheKingofSharp/ at my work to sharpen our scissors. Does a really good job and no complaints at all.
Any butcher will do it.
