Bluetooth speaker for small retail space

Budget: Up to $170ish

Size of store: ~9x9m so needs to be cover a reasonable size area decently.

Just going to be used as a backup device when there's an outage to current setup (radio cuts out at first sign of storm/moderate rain).

Not really wanting smart speakers as the Internet connection is useless.

Maybe try two smaller ones that you can sync like the UE booms or Sony Extra Bass? So the music isn't loud in one area and quieter in another spot.
