Going against my every OzBargain instinct, last Feb I bought a few pairs of these very expensive Akeso socks as their advertised anti-microbial properties interested me. I have to say that while they are way better than bamboo socks when it comes to preventing foot odour, but they are not as amazing as their over-hyped marketing makes out.
If you work in boots or like hiking, you can probably get a second day of wear out of these socks with an overnight airing but I find they do smell crusty by the third day. They will also leave a lot of black fluff on your feet.
