At 30 lumens, you might as well use your phone LED light.

    • Agree. This product might be useful if you have a heap of 9V batteries lying around, but to be honest, any cheap AA LED flashlight off AliExpress or similar would probably be more useful and put out a lot more light. Using AAs would also mean you could use rechargeables.

      eg: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32984743629.html

      • Maybe useful for the people that go around changing all the smoke alarm batteries every year for strata buildings…

    • -Not everyone has a torch in their phone + it kills battery pretty fast..

      Each to their own..

@GreenGuava - u do realise they also make 9V rechargables?

      • Yes, used to have some when 9V was more commonly used, but not anymore. I guess part of my point was that generally speaking, it is much more likely that people would have AAs already lying around (both primary and rechargeables) compared to 9V.

Not saying this is necessarily a bad deal or that this item doesn't have a place for some, but you could do better for the price.

As you say, each to their own! 🙂

        • Fair enough, but i'd imagine that most households have a 9V battery spare, for say, a smoke alarm?

& yes there are better deals on torches persay, although more than likely delivered from China, you'd be waiting weeks/mths to save $2..

9V batteries are evil and shouldn't exist anymore.
Using one for a crappy LED nightlight is madness.

  • My old man swears by these, good product for oldies.

We have a holiday place in a National park, no street lights or mains power etc.

Great for what they are & cheap @ this price.
