    I have found that "Osram cool blue intense" looks as good as Philips whitevision but lasts longer despite being much cheaper.

      thanks for your feedback. We do find that the Philips whitevision is a whiter light than the cool blue intense and that might be what affects the lifespan.

        Perhaps so for certain models, though for H7 I honestly didn't see the original Whitevision being any whiter. What irked me is that Philips advertise them with a life expectancy of 450hrs, which is utter nonsense. I didn't even get half of that. They burned out in about 3-6 months of infrequent use, whereas I get 13 months out of Osram Cool Blue Intense.

        I ordered another pair from your website - great pricing (especially when paying in GBP). Pity the Ultinon ones are not legal, though I might go for that next time, given that Philips started producing a model suitable for projector headlights (which is what most cars are nowadays). For your models, it doesn't seem to say whether it is the projector or reflector model.

          This is interesting.. I had the same thing - I thought it was just my old car with some dodgy wiring… where one would blow out pretty frequently

            @aragornelessar: Nah. I have had two pairs, and neither lasted very long. Similar with the predecessor, "Bluevision Ultra". They are all just marketing gimics; Bluevision Ultra, Whitevision and their latest Whitevision Ultra all looked indistinguishable. It's not like they found a way to make it whiter, because they already know how to do that (diamondvision/crystalvision), but it is illegal. Some more, they put different Kelvin ratings on different packs in different countries. I have had whitevision bulbs with anything from 3700K to 4300K on the packaging. I approach Philips for an explanation, but they told me nothing useful.

            I have used Bluevision Ultra, Whitevision, Narva Intense and Osram Cool Blue Intense in the same car. The Philips ones lasted shortest but cost the most.

    For what it's worth I had to return bulbs to swap with a different fitment type. Process was seamless and customer service was excellent.
