Did Xiaomi say the Mi mix 3 5G won't get an update? I have had constant firmware updates for the phone include one that made my themes crash and i couldn't use the phone lol.

Keep in mind the Android 10 limitation can be circumvented by flashing a custom ROM.

5G variant doesn't appear to have any official AOSP ROMs, only 4G version.
How's Xiaomi with security updates these days? As good as Samsung or Google?
"ce5himm" Do you know what the reason would be that the 5G version has so far not been upgraded to Android 10 (although it is 7 months newer ) and the non 5g regular model has been?

For people who interested, MIX 3’s back cover is made of ceramics. The tactile is great and the hardness is good. However, compared to Gorilla glass, ceramics is heavier and relatively easier to break.
This is a seriously premium looking phone, and for those who don't take a lot of selfies (to do so you need to slide the phone laterally) the full screen is really good. SD730 Mi 9T probably has similar performance to SD845, and more GCam options if photos are your thing.
Yeah. I would imagine the SD730 is worse in GPU performance (but I think most people don't game on their phones or if they do, it's light games anyway which wouldn't really have a big difference).

Just a reminder for people considering mix 3. 5g has better spec and bigger battery. But won't get Android 10. Will get miui 12 based on Android 9. 4g ver, slightly lower spec. Already on Android 10 I think. Will get miui 12.
