remington hair straighteners

Hi all,

I'm wanting to get my mum a hair straightener for her birthday. She's been using my sister's cheap old one for about 4 years now…

Anyways, I was hoping to buy a decent remington, but it seems that a lot of the ones on sale in the US aren't available here. In fact, it seems difficult to find a place that will even ship them here.

I was hoping to get something like these T studio ones (model 9520 or 9500), which retail for about $30-$40 USD:

But, the equivalent model 9500 model in Australia sells for around $130……….! Every place I look in Australia has it selling for over $100..

Would really appreciate it if someone could help me find a cheap (equivalent-to-US-pricing) way to get one in Australia. It's outrageous that the price differential is so high!
