Help Me Find a Good Gaming Laptop under $2k

Struggling to find a decent deal. I like the dell style but I missed out on the good deal from a few days ago and now they don’t seem too exciting.
Asus and msi looks kinda meh, and I really don’t like the design of the machines (too flashy and sounds like they have thermal issues too)

The G5 15 SE comes down to 2k after cash back.. but literally 1 year ago you could get this for the same price

    Everything is expensive due to COVID. However after my limited research this looks pretty decent.

      Thanks bro. I ended up getting a metabox but not from their website - I rang them up and asked if they had any i7 9th gen left in stock and they offered me one.
      Saved 250 bucks over the same built with the 10th gen. To me it sounds like a killer deal after checking the benchmarks (10 gen is only about 7% faster but it gets a lot hotter which is not ideal for a laptop)

        Good deal! Had a Metabox, was good but I got a 1050 model so it became obsolete real quick.
