I've been to one of these type things and they really do try hard to push you into buying one of their overpriced photographs. Sounds good to have free makeup, photoshoot etc but what's the point when you have to pay ludicrous amounts for the actual pics?
the point is that you get a makeover and have fun doing it and they donate to the charity whether you buy the photos or not. the cheapest photograph is $90 but there is no obligation to purchase it if you don't want. i have been to one and it was a really fun day.
