I am fit to throw my existing Samsung fridge down the stairs it is so loud. I am looking at getting a new 320-350L Top Mount Fridge as it is only for 2 people in an apartment. QUIET is the main requirement, any recommendations?

I've had the predecessor to this https://www.lg.com/au/fridges/lg-GB-310RWL for 6 years. Very quiet and the extra freezer capacity really works for us. I'd give it 5 stars.
My Bosch is ridiculously loud. Hate it with a passion. If only there was a review / recommendation website which recommended quiet appliances… I'll have to add that to the list of things to do.

Most brands of fridge warn in the user manual they can make unusual sounds. Sounds you might here is a sizzle or pop, this can be during the defrost. You can sometimes also here a gurgle which is the gas making its way through the system. Some inverter compressor can also give off some pitch tone sounds which are all normal so good luck.
Just about all fridges would be loud when thrown down the stairs.
