Any decent GPS bargains?

My old mum has asked me to get her a GPS, not a subject I have looked into before.

I found this in the latest Target catalog $129:

    Hahaa yeah, I haven't got one of these for that exact reason.
    It keeps a few neurons alive in the brain to actually look up in the Melways and work out the route myself.

    I mean no ill intent by saying this but I have noticed many women suck at reading maps.
    (and for some reason get angry when they cant)…. very very angry,,, :P

    I think the 4.3inch at 99bucks is the one to buy. Don't worry about map upgrades after a few years or so just buy another r one. I think by the time you get to really need new maps the unit itself probably needs to be replaced (battery no-good)

    there's been two you missed out on

    $70 for a 5" + free headphones

    $90 for a 7" from Hong Kong

    both run Igo

    I bought the 5" one… it's very good but a bit big IMO. 7" would be ridiculous.

    Well I ended up getting one of those Target Navig8r ones.
    Seems the model shown in the link above is identical to the one before except for the (Better looking IMO) case

    So $89, case closed. Seems fine.
