Just bought this for $119, $70 is a great price. Good replacement for Adobe Lightroom with some fancy and frankly amazing AI features.
edit: appears the Product can only be purchased in a pack for $99 AUD which is still $20 less than usual

Appears it's $70 to purchase an upgrade if you own an older version.
Otherwise, $99 for new customers which also includes Amazing Planets pack.
Hmmm, looks like you are right - that's pretty scummy on their part. I'll adjust the title.
How does the new AI portrait stuff (and rest for that matter) work on JPG's? I shoot RAW on my Fuji but find myself wanting to edit phone JPGs more these days.
I like Luminar and it has the best Sun Rays filter, sounds stupid but it's fixed a number of GoPro actions shots…

I mostly use CameraRaw, but Luminar has some unique features.
I got the upgrade price for AUD$55 instead of $70 as was Version 2018 and 3 user with code: MIRKOMARKOVIC
Worked for the non-upgrade deal as well… Wish I could get AuroraHDR on sale as a new customer as well though :(
Is this comparable to Affinity photo software for $39, or are they different beasts?
Affinity photo is the equivalent of Adobe Photoshop
Luminar 4 is the equivalent of Adobe Lightroom
Hopefully that clears up what the differences are
I've got a camera that takes RAW images and have wanted to try some photo editing to create better photos for a while, but am a total beginner. Would Luminar 4 be a good place to start?
How do you buy Luminar without a package or upgrade. I cant see a way to just purchase Luminar for $70.
