Only good in very dark room . quite bright but not sharp enough as expected . It might be worth only $49 to replace Dodgy yellow projector by Kogan and for your kids Birthday at home In case the local government still in lock down mood

Aw man! I bought one a couple of weeks ago for $109. It's actually not too bad, worth getting for this price I reckon. I got it to use outside every now and then but have used it indoors on my wall a couple of times. I have a chromecast plugged in and it powers off the usb port. Best having it as level as possible as the keystone correction causes corners to become out of focus. No manual zoom, but you can digitally reduce the image size. Darkened room is best for sure.

    • Is it noisey?

      • Nah not really, not a silent fan, but it's not as loud as other projectors I've used.

        • Ok thanks if it comes on Sale again I will get it.

    • What was your experience like outside? Wanting something similar for outside use. How far away was the projector from the screen?

      • I haven't used it outside yet, too cold! haha But the distance would depend on the screen size. I just did a rough measurement, and think it was about 1.6m away from my 1.6m wide screen. If you had it further back you can use the digital reduction to reduce the image size, nothing you can do if you have it closer and need to fill the screen.

so just to be clear, what is the resolution output?

it says 720/1080p input, but a little unclear if its 720p or lower ouput like almost all mini projectors?

  • Gone deal I guess.

Ozbargained so quick before I posted only 30%% claimed.

  • I just bought one the other day $100~, it's great in a dark room/night time/movie watching! it's not really for everyday tv in a light room, the picture is masssive! I couldn't believe it, great price

  • So question before I add it to the forums. What’s a good second hand projector brand and model you would recommend to look out for? Budget $300-500 TIA
