Optus have started offering the Realme C3 as prepaid.

Entered my Realme C3’s IMEI on the Optus unlock site, comes up with "This mobile device is not a locked Optus prepaid mobile device.".
Contact Optus via live chat, and the unlock code is requested from the unlocking team or manufacturer and the unlock code then sent within several business days at no charge-usually is the case for phones that when you unlock via the Optus unlock site and are given "This mobile device is not a locked Optus prepaid mobile device.".
So can you confirm if you had to contact Optus support or your device was already unlocked? And where did you buy off?
Had to contact Optus support for them to request the unlock code from Realme for me.
Purchased the phone from Australia Post.

I was able to get an unlock code from Optus after spending the requisite amount in recharges.
The actual steps to unlock this phone are a bit unusual.

- Remove Optus sim card
- Ensure the device is connected to internet via Wi-Fi.
- On the number pad, dial *#475838912# to open the Unlock Window and press “Ignore”.
- Enter the 16-digit unlocking code in exact form and once complete, press “Unlock”.
- If unlock code is correct, device will display “Unlock Successful” and device will reboot automatically.
Does anyone unlock Oppo C3 from Optus successfully?

no im not gamed it looks like a scam. might just try buying cheaper starter sim packs worth up to $50 along with the $30 pack that came with the phone and just port in and out the same number over few months.

I got 2 x RealMe C3 from Target via an OB post (nice!). Locked to Optus although the packaging never specifically articulated that and I needed to use ALDI SIMs. Navigated a minefield with Optus "support", who would not budge on waiving the unlock fee until I mentioned the phrase 'extortion cost', now they've given me the unlock codes. Having said that, there's no prompt to enter the code on the RealMe C3 despite following several form processes to initiate it. The phones are great btw, especially for the sale price notified by OB…

My C3 says no ("Unlock failed").
I got a unlock code from Optus easily for free, as I'm with one of their MVNOs, Moose Mobile, and I can confirm the code is unique every time (most likely linked to the IMEI number of the phone)
it failed for me too. online chat gave me wrong code it wasnt 16 digits
I've received my unlock code. Each time I put code in it's says failed. I've recontact Optus and they ask each time for my IMEI number then send me the same code that don't work. Anyone have any ideas how to unlock my phone?

i had to enter mine twice for it to work. pity only 1 sim slot still works .the first code they gave me was too short.
btw got it for free finally after many chats. i just signed up for the current free 3 month promo data plan and gave them that phone number and told them i was in contract and had not activated the prepaid sim pack and that i got an error on their unlock website saying phone was already unlocked.
Has anyone unlocked a S21Ultra. I am waiting for my code from optus. Just wondering if anyone has some advice about it.
