Seagate Exos 14TB HD. Might not be as good as the 16TB deal per GB but looks still OK
The slighty smaller cost might appeal to people buying multiple HDs for RAID.

          damn, bad luck. I tested 12 minutes ago, and they had 37 left in stock. was hesitating to buy thinking whether the 16tb ones will come back, but pulled the trigger and got 2. these 14tb at $555 turn out to be cheaper tb/$ compared to the 16tb

            @vbguy2011: They also run a lot cooler vs the 16TB. I have 3 already but need another for some parity storage spaces. I'm sure they will come up again.

    Because of the Aus dollar going higher against the US dollar, prices are dropping for US imported products. Hopefully it goes further
