Maggi = emergency Pandemic field rations. These things flew off supermarket shelves 2 or 3 months ago, even though most instant noodle enthusiasts would rank it last on the taste tier.
I still have around a dozen packs in the storage.. which I'll probably never eat as-is. It might be good as a pie topping.
Maggi was stocked on Amazon. Others weren't.
Luckily I had stocked up on Coles/Woolies brand. Honestly can't tell the difference between Maggi and home brand. If I was spending that much on a pack I would get other noodles.Maybe I've been living under a rock, but I've never heard of noodles used as "pie topping" - how's that work?
There are recipes on Maggi's website. https://www.maggi.com.au/recipes/chicken-recipes/easy-cheese… but essentially your cooked noodles serve as the top crust of any baked savoury product. Like fritatas or pot pie. You stick it in the oven and it hardens into a crispy shell.
I don't mind a mix of one packet of Mi Goreng or similar, and one packet of chicken noodles. I wouldn't buy Maggi though, usually home brand of wherever I am shopping.
Be aware that these aren't the same recipe as you buy in the 5 packs at the supermarket usually. They're overseas stock
As noted by the PNG Made on the box …
Wouldn't be surprised if the PNG made ones become our regulars - the new line is pretty serious in Lae:

That sad, I agree with others in here - treat yourself to some 'real' asian-sourced noodles.
These are $9.98 at my local Coles 🤭 PNG Made
Spend a little more and get on the nong-shims.
Are there two "cakes" of noodles in each pack, i.e. 36 x 2?
Upvoted for anything NOT MADE IN CHINA !!!
lol They were selling at $5 each at my local Coles.
Can anyone tell me why buy Maggie instant noodles? amongst the worst IMO, I'd you buy Korean varieties
