Hi guys,
this is my first post.Hope this is a bargain :-) I just went to Moore Park harvey norman today,When I paid the photo print over the counter, I saw a pile of Dirt3 card on the counter, which is showed in the post. Finally I found this is a freebie! The 16 digits code is at the back of card. just filling code on their website.

    you need to add :
    Look for a unique ID card (16 alphanumeric characters) with your AMD product. That ID is required to get your game key.
    you have to first buy an AMD product that is part of the promotion. This needs mentioning in your post

    Hmm, get Dirt 3 for free with select ATI products. Very nice, especially if you're already in the market for a new card, but is it really an OzBargain bargain?

    You know like 12 million of these keys were stolen right? and they said they'd ban steam accounts that tried to register them… And now they are giving them away legitimately? o_O

      They never said that. They just deactivated the 3 million Dirt keys that were linked to the leaked Unique ID's and issued a new batch. It's the same promo, but at OP's HN they have the cards just sitting on the counter rather then under the counter where they'd most likely be forgotten.

      They didn't ban any accounts, and now they are giving them away because most of the keys are invalid anyway.

    it seems that you have to purchase any AMD products and get this card. but these cards is just on the counter and looks like an advertisement.not sure if it's a mistake

    for people with exsiting cards yeah? i got dirt 2 with my card, dirt 3 would be a nicefreebe to… dont know whey they dont do the same things with the free steam games though (both nvidia and AMD have a section on steam) :S

    edit seems like you have to buy a "qualifying product"?

    Yea this is LEGIT your meant to get the game when you buy a graphics card or something. That was something different anyway its highly likely that they revoked the game keys

    I recently redeemed one of these. After submitting, I had to provide a photo/scan of my card with registration code, and a few days later they responded with a new (replacement) activation code.

    I saw a pile of FIFA 12 DLC cards sitting on the desk at JB Hi-Fi.
    Didn't pick it up… im sorry, unless there is a specific sign saying "please take one" or "free" then i wouldn't feel 100% picking it up… sorry to say i gotta give it a neg.

    good pickup though if its legit though =D

          I'm not negging this post, but that's almost on the order of:
          "I asked the 5-year-old if I could just grab $20 from Mummy's purse, and she said sure."

          Reading the website and voucher itself ("Congratulations on the purchase of your AMD product"), it is clear that the vouchers are intended only for people buying an ATI/AMD video card. IMHO, the fact that it was OK'd by a sales assistant who fairly obviously didn't know or care about that is a pretty big grey area, at best. I'm not trying to guilt the OP, but I don't think it's really a "legit" deal to be posting here.

          EDIT: No, wait, I am negging it.

        Exactly. It's like that time I went to Starbucks and picked up a coffee. The lady put the coffee on the counter, and I asked her if it was OK to just grab it, and she said sure.     These are supposed to be included INSIDE of retail packages of AMD products eg. graphics cards. You can redeem it from the website, but with those 'compromised' codes, you have to send in a photo of the code itself, +/- a retail receipt of the AMD product. I didn't have to provide my receipt. They will verify the photo manually and then send you a new steam key. FWIW I don't particularly enjoy the game. Source: I bought an AMD product and got my steam key emailed to me..
