How long after the order was cancelled did the voucher turn up?
I bought the item, and cancelled it on the 9th of May, so exactly a month.
What item was cancelled?
EBay is rubbish now, last 3 of 4 items I bought seller cancelled as didn't have the item. Left negative feedback only for ebay to remove it apparently as a covid benefit to sellers 🤪
No vouchers received
My fav was the seller claiming to have shipped, but the tracking showed it hadn't been picked up.."just wait another 5-7 days" they said (after the first 7 ,10, 14, 18 days)..after 21 days I lodged a dispute and they cracked it at me for being impatient.
Lemme guess the item was supposedly in Chullora NSW? There's a bunch of sellers pull this stunt. They print the parcel post label in China and bulk ship the items to Australia. Normally the parcels arrive in Australia after a week or so and they're handed over to Australia Post. Covid isn't working out so well for those sellers.
Why is this a deal?

Some eBay sellers are very difficult. eBay has already given me questionable levels of customer service.
My order was cancelled last week because the seller didn't have enough stock. I didn't receive an email for $5 though. How did you go about getting it?

i was selling an item and the buyer cancelled it, i got a $5 off voucher immediately
i used my $20 ebay plus voucher now seller wanted to cancel and refund sale and mad up some crap about item is damaged and have to send back to manufacture. you can not get ebay discount vouchers back if order is cancelled can you? so messaged him back that i wanted to wait or accept a different colour or another item instead. but he simply cancelled it. now ive lost $20 discount whats the best course of action:??
I'd prefer to not have my order cancelled thanks.
