You can’t even bring keepcups to cafes
Is that a Melbourne thing? It's quite common to bring your own cup in Sydney.
There's plenty of local manufacturers: https://gundowringfinefoods.com.au/
Nah we could, it’s just a covid response to not allow it atm, hopefully only temporary. Prior to covid you could byo Tupperware to a lot of places to take home food too.
Well it used to be - I know Sydney sells alot more anything than Melbourne - also Sydneys got alot Mega computer shops that Melbourne hasn't.
I think you can buy twisted sista gelato in bulk. Their factory/distribution centre is in Narre Warren, I see people come and go every Saturday/Sunday, taking ice cream probably back to their own franchise.
They don't mention the sizes in litres, just the amount of people it can serve. A bit useless, I reckon.
Small Take Home Pack – $15, Serves 2
Medium Take Home Pack – $20, Serves 4
Large Take Home Pack – $25, Serves 6
Family Take Home Pack – $50, Serves 12+
Pretty sure I have seen people on here claim a tub of connoisseur is only 1 or 2 serves…
It isn't?
Aurora has a store at their factory in Bakers Road, Coburg which sells Aurora gelati and Dairy Bell ice cream. But its not BYO coontainer.
https://www.aurorafoods.com.au thanks I'll give them a ring
What did the staff at Aurora tell you? I sent them a message once asking if they actually sell products from their Bakers Road address, but received no reply.
I've been to this mob once, but I don't know about bringing your own container like an old goof.
Alpine Ice Cream Co.

There's a little place just off Peter's Avenue, Mulgrave that makes ice cream. Been around for ages apparently. Also Harry's Ice Cream in Hadfield.
Are you sure Harry's Ice Cream sells stuff from there? Their web page only mentions buying from retail stores. They don't actually mention their manufacturing address. I searched via Google Maps and it points towards a residential house at 77 South Street Hadfield.
I haven't actually been there myself. They listed opening hours on google so I thought it must be open to public but looking at street view it doesn't look very welcoming.
You can’t even bring keepcups to cafes, unlikely you can bring an empty ice cream tub
