Autobarn are having another great cheap motor oil deal with their current july catalogue, this time it's the new Mobil Super 1000 20W-50 5 litre pack Motor oil. This is Mobil's new blend of the old Super HP 20W-50 and is rated at the latest API SM rating and replaces the older API SL rating. Maybe not really ideal for the older engines but very good for most modern engine's upto 2002 that require a 20W-50 viscosity mineral based engine oil with the latest API rating. This is equivalent to Castrol GTX2 20W-50. Oh and if you purchase an oil filter at the same time as any of their engine oils you also receive 10% off the price of the oil filter aswell!

Not a bad deal!

    A late reply nobody will probably read but I just picked up 3 of these yesterday for my other car that runs specifically on 20W-50! Bought the 3 filters down the road though (they were running a 20% off sale just on filters lol!)

    Brilliant, saved me about $50 thanks.

      Your welcome mate, yeah these deals are great you won't find any cheaper good premium quality motor oil for that price at any of the other major auto shops as I allways browse through all of them near me, and even the limit of 3 if you really want to you can get more just go back again a few days later they won't remember you or you can go to another store and grab a few more…I got 3 oils to start with then I went back the next day and got 1 more oil only to grab an oil and air filter at the same time as they have to discount the oil filter and air filter by 15%, and make sure they apply the discount as they easily tend to forget…lol I guess they hate giving a discount on extra's when they aren't making that much on their special oil! lol
