I can't recommend Katana Zero enough. It really is a great game with a pretty engaging story.

      Agreed!
Not sure if people feel the same way, but I personally thought if you enjoyed Hotline Miami, then Katana Zero is definitely worth checking out.

      • Have been playing KZ since grabbing in this deal, and totally agree it's much deeper and more fun than I expected. I love the art style, the gameplay, the story and the characters. I've already grabbed hotline Miami collection, as I heard it was in the same vein. Had to use NZ Switch region for HM due to it being banned in Australia.

        • While I enjoy Hotline Miami, I suck at it and find it incredibly difficult. Is Katana Zero more or less difficult?

          • @Faro: Hi. Sorry didn't see your reply. I've finished KZ, and now halfway through Hotline Miami. I found I sucked at HM first as well, playing on Switch the controls feel super unintuitive. I would say KZ has a better difficulty curve, more fluid and tighter controls. KZ gets very difficult towards the end, but never feels impossible. If it's on sale, I definitely recommend giving it a shot, and giving it some time to learn the gameplay hooks.

            • @happykamper: Thanks for the response!

I actually already have it from a previous sale in my huge backlog. Just haven't got around to it yet 😅

              • @Faro: Cool, no worries :)
Yeah I'd also just add that KZ feels more like you get better at it, whereas HM you just keep trying till you get lucky and scrape through.
