Howards Storage World is pretty much the most expensive place to buy this type of stuff.
Try Sam's Warehouse, Go-Lo, Reject Shop. Target is are only competitively priced when they are 50% off.
Found this on Lasoo - 48l for $7.50 at Big W (new low price):

or 60l for $10 at Big W (starts tomorrow):

I've seen them in supermarkets also, but not necessarily cheap. Though I got one on sale once. And they might have issues supplying you with more than a few.
Yep, woolies or coles has those chinese containers
But if you want heaps (in the hundreds) try finding a wholesaler
Reject Shop is always good or some small chinese owned stores. That have heaps of crap at much cheaper prices compare to any chain store!
Ikea?
The 50 litre "Award" brand from Bunnings are the cheapest that I have found. About $9 each. They also have a smaller one at a slightly lower price.
The BigW ones that sparkles mentioned look the same as the ones that Bunnings USED to sell at a similar price.
After buying about 40 or 50 of these over the years, one thing I have learnt is that you ned to find ones that you can get in the future. The different brands don't stack very well… so I use the Bunnings ones because there is continuity of supply.
I've never seen Howards storage and the word cheap exist together!
Bunnings, BigW, Target, Kmart?
