Sphero App Controlled Robot Suggestions

Any thoughts or suggestions on Sphero please?
Are they good? Fun? Do they have longevity as far as keeping your interest?

    Get one second hand, they are fun for a while, then you will want to sell it because it will sit there for a while (just like most toys) - imo

      Agreed, bought for kids to but now somewhere with other toys. Key is you play with so kids will copy you, like everything else…

      i will definitely suggest that. i assume the app will just work when I connect to it.

    Kids 2 & 4 like it but too young to fully use features; there's also programming features for later.

    For $70 I'd rather get a discounted Lego technic set.

      cheers mate, programming is the bit i'm keen on.
      yeh i'm hoping for eofy prices, $30-40 is probably all i'd want to spend.
