I recently ordered some stuff from AliExpress and was wondering how long shipping was impacted. My order was shipped 5 days ago. It has left China.

depends on the shipping method. up to 60 days. last time i placed an order buyer protection for australia was bumped up to 90 days
A pair of sunglasses I ordered on the 12th of April arrived yesterday.
As mtg said, it depends on your shipping method. Free shipping? It'll take a while. That's the price we pay for cheap items.
Waiting on an order from April 1st. Opened a dispute and the response from AliExpress was to be patient…
Let's just say that the better sellers are auto extending buyer protection out to 90 days from the start for economy shipping methods. I just had one item arrive that spent 6 weeks in Australia alone.
I also placed an order through Aliexpress on the 1st of April and it took 2 months!

Had one order 16th January arrived 28th April
Another one 28th Mar, still waiting
28th April, still waiting.So don't hold your breath. Those were standard free shipping orders though so if you paid more for shipping then I guess it might be quicker.

It's a bit hit and miss at the moment, the last package i had from April took 2 weeks to get here, which was fairly quick. Faster than Australia post can get my other package from one side of Australia to the other…
My other package from aliexpress has been coming for a few weeks now and no end in sight.
I ordered something in February and I recieved it like late may. I guess it varies with each person.
I ordered an item from China with EMS Express, and it took 2 months to go from China to Australia.
Two of my orders have been stuck in China for over a month. One order from Sonoff arrived in less than two weeks. So it depends on the shipping method/contractor that the seller uses.
Here’s one item I’m waiting on. Left China 6/5. Hasn’t arrived in Australia yet. Maybe in one of those shipping containers in the ocean.
