Great prices. remember spending more couple of years back. with pollution level low right time to see city from top.

  • Get ready for the neg brigade.

“WhY wOuLd I pAy MoNeY tO wAlK oN a BrIdGe?!”

    • Yes, why the (profanity) should I pay money to walk on a bloody bridge that I am ALREADY paying for with my bloody taxes ?

      • actually, fully paid off many years ago with the toll

      • +1

From my experience people who pay the least amount of tax shout out the loidest about paying their "bloody taxes" in reference to just about anything

Even at $198, this is a rip-off. (It used to be completely free, once upon a time.)

International tourism is dead & likely to remain dead for the foreseeable future, which means no Chinese tourists to cause price inflation on things like the Bridge Climb.

There is a chance that we might see even better prices in the future, if the Bridge Climb operators become more desperate for revenue.

Seeing the rip-off-artist Bridge Climb operators suffer is one of the nicer side effects of the Corona Virus. May their suffering continue in the future.

    • You're kidding right? They used to let you climb to the top of the bridge for free? I find that incredibly hard to believe. Would love to hear more if this is true though.

      • Buy a Hi vis , carry a clip board pen and paper . Hard top , and say you are there for inspection !

    • Please tell us when this was ever free. On 2nd thought don't bother responding. Just read your entire post and you're one of those massive chip on shoulder ppl I don't engage with in real life.

    • Above is a completely ignorant and unnecessarily contrarian post. I know as they are a client what the profit margins for Sydney Bridge Climb are and what their overheads are.

Having done it once I don't think it's worth $198 to do it again.

    • Did you pay that much for it?

    • Did it for free for a work event; also agree. Just head up to the top of Centerpoint tower instead - same views.

Pfft you can do it for free during the night!

    • Sure…

    • +1

      at night, ninja style?
correct. plus the bonus you will be on TV the next day, and spend night at police station too!

      • You'll get a cup of coffee and a free phone call at the police station… That sweetens the deal!

Yeah, you are either dead set pro or against this post.

Depends on your situation and if indeed 35 - 50% off might be ok for some.

But for me and people I know, with job cuts and job losses, etc, if I had a spare $200, I know what I would be doing with it and it wouldn't be to walk up a bridge.

  • It would be nice if locals got a special rate like many major attractions around the world where locals get it for free or super discounted.
