Hi Bargainers,
Just wondering can I withdraw or cash out in Auspost or other places using Apple Pay (Debit Card)? Or can I load money into Aupost Everyday Mastercard or Qantas Travel Money using Apple Pay in post shops?
Cheers

Incorrect (for the most part). Supermarkets, and even Australia Post, require a physical card for cash out (it does not accept tap/paywave/paypass, you need to insert chip or swipe), even if say you are buying stuff from Woolworths as well as getting cash-out in the same transaction, it won't let you tap.
Odd, I would assume they would treat them the same as a normal physical card.
Nope. This is why I have my debit card, myki and license in my phone case. If I ever need cash it's easier just to do it that way.
If your bank offers it, cardless cash is a good alternative.
Just imagine someone gets your smart watch & starts tapping $100 dollar notes out like crazy, that’d be a hell of a day. Good idea not to have that option…
You can get cash out at most places with Apple Pay (including AusPost, supermarkets, etc.) it’s treated like a normal debit/credit card.
