"Large 1920 x 1080 display, 5,000,000:1 contrast, HDMI connectivity"
They also mention the 5000000:1 contrast ratio at the top.
By the way, WTF with the 'haberdashery' tag???
i think it's "hater bashery"
nice to see you back qqq
Bring some PS3/Xbox Gaming deals. specially Battlefield 3 & Call of Duty-MW3
I'll wait when 23" led monitors sell for $50 lol :)
Perhaps when 3d-stereo glassless monitors become the norm you might be able to pick one up at that price!
COTD trustworthy?
They may take ages to ship, but otherwise their customer service is OK.
Took nearly a month to get my order
My monitor arrived today (~1 week)
Not sure whether to get this one or the Samsung BX2450 24" Wide LED 2MS Monitor HDMIx2 Full HD for $179? i just use it for everyday stuff.
$9 more can u get 1 more inch"
and u can pickit up right away vs waitin like 3 or more weeks..
$179 - $141.90 = $9 ??? I think we attended different maths classes.
$159.95 + $9.95 shipping
i was referring to the original price
She wouldn't mind an extra inch for $9 more!
I would kill to get another inch down there ;) I could start calling it the footlong sub
Too far. The game here is to be subtle.
Damn
if only it was that easy and affordable.
So is $27.10 worth the Samsung monitor or should we be jumping at this LG? I've always owned Samsung and have been happy, any bad experiences with LG?
This deal is very good but I would go to Samsung :)
samsung is 1" extra..
it has 2ms response time..
so for an extra
$27 u get an extra inch and 2ms response vs 5ms..
once u get the 23" u can't get an extra inch..
u can't go back..
so i would get the biggest one I can afford..
bring on the coupons qqq :)
Just got a 42" LG TV from Harvey Norman. I got it mainly for the price but I'll be looking for LG more often now ;)
Avoid their microwaves - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/535970
Just bought it - fingers crossed on the delivery!
I just brought a 24" ASUS a few weeks ago, why do you do this too me CoTD!
Spend few mmore dollars and get a Samsung BX2450 24???
Anyone know if there are full HD LED monitors around this size that also have speakers in-built? Then it could be used with an Apple TV or PS3 etc. Pretty much like a tv without a tv tuner in-built.
This doesn't have speakers built in? With HDMI connector and no speakers?
No mention of speakers. Did your Asus monitor come with speakers?
Yes, it has built in speakers. But the specifications on their site indicate it does, which yes the LG ones doesn't seem to indicate
Hey awesome thanks, you answered my question then. Most models I came across didn't mention speakers. So how is the sound quality on your Asus? Also how much did you pay for yours?
Only thing is, the Asus is not LED backlit. But I'm sure they prob have another model that is.
I meant to pay $159 from Centercom but the guy didn't take my deposit so it took a week to come and and it went back up to $199. I argued and got it for $169.
The sound is decent, but I usually use headphones for gaming so it's not my primary source for sound.
Yep, got one, thanks for the coupon QQQ, it tipped me off the fence
Received it today, very nice screen, such a difference from my old 21" LCD
Noob question, I thought that these monitors are not the same as a LCD TV?
I picked up the Samsung 24inch today from store for $169! No delivery waiting times! I am using it right now!
which store ?? COTD store ?
Orange IT…I picked it up from Hurstville Strore in Sydney. They have a few stores, call them before going to check stock!
Please do kiss n tell. Receipt?
I post a receipt if I knew HOW to.
It's OrangeIT, That's the catalogue price for in-store purchase.
Correct!
Can someone help me out here - I cant see this monitor any where on the COTD website ?
How is everyone getting details about it - Is it for sale now ? Or 2morow ? So lost!
The sale is finished noobist.
This monitor is back on today's 'Technothon'. It looks like the coupon still works.

I ordered one last week (03/10/2011) and it arrived today (10/10/2011)! It's the LG E2360V in case anyone wanted to look up reviews. I'm just using it for work so it's perfect for my requirements. :)
Trying to find out some more information about this monitor, it looks like it's this model - http://www.lg.com/au/it-products/monitors/LG-led-lcd-monitor…
However, the COTD website indicates contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 whereas the LG website indicates 5,000,000:1 so either I am wrong in identifying the monitor, or else there's a typo on the COTD website?
