Free “The Last of Us Part II“ Guitar Pick When you Pickup a 'Stack' Magazine (First 5000) @ JB Hi-Fi (Excludes SA, WA)

631

I just got an email from JB saying you can score a free “The Last of Us Part II” themed guitar pick with a copy of Stack Magazine from this Friday. Till stocks last.

Edit: click through the link to see where you can get one. Not all states will have them in-store (see dealbot’s comment below).

In the June issue of STACK magazine we’re featuring the hugely anticipated The Last of Us Part II. STACK has partnered with our pals at Sony PlayStation to offer the first 5,000 people nationwide (state exclusions apply*) who pick up their STACK magazine from JB Hi-Fi on Friday, June 5, a limited edition The Last of Us Part II guitar pick pack.

Now you can look the part as you strum along with Gustavo Santaolalla’s incredible theme music from the game!

NOTE: Quantities are strictly limited, while stocks last – limit one per customer. Head up to the JB Hi-Fi front counter on Friday, June 5, to collect yours. Find your closest store and trading times here.

  • Offer excludes South Australia and Western Australia, but never fear SA and WA residents – we don’t want you to miss out. You can enter the draw to WIN one of 150 limited edition picks.

Pro tip: you can use 50c AS a guitar pick if push comes to shove - cuts out the middle man!

No SA or WA? So NT and TAS are included?

So they set aside 150 picks for WA and SA but we have to enter a competition with the 25 words or less crap. Yeah.. nah…

    Wow generous

A golf ball would be more appropriate

      You mean golf club?

I remember when free magazines used to give away CDs and T-shirts from time to time.

I guess JB-HI FI don't make enough money for that.

    • +4

There was a free fallout 76 vinyl when the game was released. I think it was plastic but worked on record players

      • +4

Without any sarcasm, it is probably worth more than the game at the moment.

    • You get tea towels, note pads and random stuff from magazines, should check the magazine section next time at Coles or woollies.

    Stunning and brave

So you grab a copy of the mag, take it to the counter, and ask them for a free guitar pick? That's pretty sad.

    • Why is it sad? Is asking hard?

    • Some stores just dump them with the mags. Happened with the fallout vinyl

    • I fail to follow your logic

  • These are great for shucking hard drives.. laptops..

  • +4

I hope they sell some golf clubs as merchandise.

  • Day later you see them up on eBay for $100 each limited 5000 only T_T

As a guitarist, nah, I don't give a crap. I have a million guitar picks of different shapes, thicknesses and sizes. I don't want your (most probably) crappy pick.

      Thanks for letting us know.

Picked one up this morning even though meant for tomorrow

  • Went to my local JB Robina this morning And was told they don’t have any and they knew nothing about it. They then checked and was told they attack magazine isn’t getting made for another 2 months????

  • +1

Went to my local this morning. They haven’t received it yet. The guy said it would be another few days.

If you want one, call ahead.

    • Same experience here :(

  • Yep nothing at my local. Girl behind counter had never even heard of Stack magazine and manager had no idea about this promo. Wasnt until another staff member overheard our convoy that he knew about it but they hadn't arrive yet. Seems the case with a few stores. Call ahead so you dont waste your time.

    • Went back today and i got lucky as they had come in and they still had them in stock. Was Geelong CBD store.

  • Went to my local (Eastland, VIC) and they had just gotten and were unpacking.
The mags are separate, individually wrapped, and the wrapping contains a small packet with 4 picks (2 black, 2 white)

    • Yep the magazines that are stocked outside doesn’t have it in my local store. You gotta go to the front counter to get the ones that are individually packed in plastic sleeves.

Edit: the bourke street branch, VIC was the only branch in cbd that knew about the giveaways in my experience

  • Does anyone knows if JB Pacific Fair got it?

  • Just got mine from JB Hyperdome. They seemed to have some more in the box.

  • got mine today was also the last one
