Hi All, I have noticed in the last couple of days that OzBargain page is showing a large Popup Ad on the right hand side of the page. I use Firefox and I tested this on Chrome as well but the problem persists. Running Firefox 76.0.1 with Adblock plus.
Any help would be great
Use uBlock origin or add the site to the blacklist. ABP has declined in quality in the past few years.

Well I may have found out why, I was browsing these forums and another re-direct topic a Mod suggested to go into settings and turn off "Banner Ads". That seems to have fixed the problem. Funny because I have never seen these before and haven't changed any settings recently.

Now that I think about it, why not leave it on text ads to support the site.
Actually text-ads have not been working for a while, as the setting gets lost when passed through layers of ad networks. I should have removed that option. For now just use no ads if you don't want to see banner ads.
The 300x600 at top-right gets annoying and it also pushes down the sidebar content. I'm also in the process of getting rid of and using a smaller 300x250 unit there instead.
If it helps the site I'm happy to leave them, I was more concerned I may have had a virus or something.
OzBargain should just ban users with ad blockers.
I've never heard a valid excuse for ad blocking.
