  • Wow, great deal!

    • +19

how so? Bp food is all significantly marked up and a regular dominoes pizza is $17+

      • sorry, should have read the deal more thoroughly….not sure why you dont just order it direct via dominos…

  • +1

I found a piece of plastic in my last dominoes order which put me off. They gave me full refund and $30 credit but you wouldnt pay me to risk it.

    • +1

I assume the upvote is on behalf of everyone around you due to the plastic blocking the flatulence issue 🤔

      • -1

¯(◉‿◉)/¯ I like bargains and this is one of them.

    • +3

If you think plastic is the worst thing you have ever unintentionally eaten… think again.

      • Imagine all them dead skin cells..

  • +22

I'll never understand people who order Dominos or Pizza Hut through these apps. Their standard prices are outrageous. Go direct and get a deal!

  • +10

The BP prices are criminal…and paying full price for a Dominos pizza…..pass.

  • +19

Lmao , $23 for a new yorker at dominos with the free delivery, or use their code on their site for 20 delivered, how are people this dumb.

    • -1

Beggars can't be choosers and in regional areas you don't have much to pick from. Don't think it's dumb at all.

      • +3

        What's your point?

They're both literally the same thing - just that Uber is more expensive (even uses the same delivery network).

        • Regional locations only have limited in-house drivers and quite busy which results in poor experience.

Ubereats provides a quick and hot meal, more likely anyway.. For $3 it's not too bad at all

  • +17

I'll bite - negging as not a deal [The deal is not the cheapest available: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines]

As far as I can see, there is always a cheaper way to order this through Dominos - they markup to post of UberEats:

    • Cheapest Ubereats pizza is $15 - through Dominos.com.au "Any Large Value, Traditional, Premium, Vegan, or Vegetarian Plant-Based Pizza from $15.00" (includes Premium)
    • New yorkers are $19.95 delivered with any of the codes on here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/pages/pizza-coupons, vs $23+ on Ubereats

Given they're using the same fulfilment network (Ubereats won't even track, which Dominos does?) - this is not a bargain.

Change my mind and I'll revoke

    • Also the Dom Pizza tracker thingy by Dominoes really helps to know the 'actual' pizza you're gonna eat vs shitty uber eats 'Olives off my pizza' ordeal which happened twice in a month.
      Salty. Sans salted olives.

  • My nearby Domino's is not participating ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  • +9

Dominos too expensive on ubereats. Spicy Veg trio is $5 on Dominos website, ubereats charges $15 and that is without delivery.

    • +4

Uber wants to make a profit too it would seem.

I honestly never use Uber if I can help it, they take such a big cut its unnecessary, just order direct from food retailer

      • For my local takeaway's -> It's the same price on Uber as it is in store

        • So do your local a favour, and go direct to them. So they take a bigger cut, and if they’re savvy, they’ll get to know you by name and give you something extra too coz that’s what locally businesses tend to do.

          • @cloudy: I do sometimes. But if delivery is free, I'll use Uber

            • @Maz78: yea, that's one reason to use them, free delivery and no jack in price.

  • +4

Dominos are too expensive on Uber eats.

  • My BP is “Couch Food by BP” not “Everyday by BP” :(
