Dirt in VR can be a bit too intense, felt sick as in some of the faster cars and I play a lot of VR.

    • Most people can get used to VR but it can be annoying to start with because you have to stop.

You should stop as soon as you experience any nausea (because if you keep going it stays for a long time) and keep coming back to it regularly.

  • Mirrors Edge Catalyst is underrated, a real gem.

Underrated? I think it got most of the spotlight that it deserved, which isn't a lot considering the first game was already kind of niche. I enjoyed Catalyst for the most part, but the open world design, in my eyes, was a mistake for the sequel. I still go back and play the first game quite often just to try new speedrun stuff, has held up surprisingly well.

      • I'm the opposite - I go back and play Catalyst due to it playing smoother, sounding and looking better, and having the 'Dashes' as set speed-runable challenges if I don't want to play the structured missions. That said, wish we got a port of the OG Mirror's Edge on consoles.

  • I bought my PSVR in last Novembers "Black Friday" sale purely for driving Sims. While I find the VR experience very immersive, the graphics (compared to the same game in 2d) are just crap. It's like going from Blu-ray back to VHS. I've calibrated and re-calibrated every option, scoured the internet for any clues on making it better but unfortunately have resigned myself to the fact that this is as good as it gets.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the VR experience, but I'm hoping the new PS5 and accompanying VR will be a hell of a lot better.
