Wouldn't the compute power to interpolate in real time cost more than a straight up 4K sensor?

I've never heard of this brand and of course who would ve bought it at RRPYep. Real test is the hot Aussie Sun during summer. Capacitor pays for itself.

Pretty much this. A dashcam is something you want to be able to rely on when you need it, and while realistically you should be fine with these it is a bit of a roll of the dice.

More than just reliable, rather failsafe.
I used to stock Dashmate at my store back when I worked in Sydney. I sent them all back due to how many returns I had on them, never again will I sell this brand.
I bought the 4k one a few weeks ago for that price. Haven’t set it up yet.
The 1150 model I have seen in store also for same price
But when you go and buy it they are sold out
