The day they add Pantry Food & Drinks (Grocery?) will make me happy

  • YES Kitchen, Thanks

  • +2

Would the instant pot attract 6%? Thiiis close to adding to cart!

    • Depends on which category it has been included under. You can see underneath the search bar at the top of the page

        Says kitchen and dining…so yes?

Edit ah wait it says home

        • +1

Home is still 5.30%, only missing out on 0.7% ;)

Although I just checked instant pot and it does say Kitchen & Dining so should be 6.00%

    • I ordered one this morning and just got an email that it tracked at 6%

  • Are speakers in home entertainment or electronics? Does anyone know how you can check?

    • +1

When you've clicked into the item, check the top left of the page under the amazon logo (if you're on desktop) and underneath it will have the category.

Not entirely sure on mobile though, unless you open the page through a browser and enable desktop view.

That's what I thought but there isn't a home entertainment category and lots of home entertainment products fall in electronics..

        • Actually yeah that's true, I checked some speakers earlier and it was under "Computer Accessories" so not too sure.

I wish the categories weren't so cryptic 😝

    • Bought sonos speakers and cashback tracked

  • are video games home entertainment?

    • +8

No, video games are video games.

      Video Games 0.00 %

  • If only this was available yesterday

  • Both cashrewards and Shopback no longer offer cashback on mobile phone handsets which is a pita

  • +1

Bring back video game cashback pls corporate overlords 😩

  • Just when i bought $700 bucks of baby stuff on Sunday

    • If it hasn't shipped, cancel and reorder. Zero penalty from Amazon for that

      • It has, but i reordered and will return the first order

  • Thanks OP. Just grabbed a camera bag that I've been watching for the past couple of weeks. Nice to save a bit more on Cashrewards. Cheers

perhaps time to grow up and move out from the basement?

  • Thanks, just cancelled my order from the other day on the 'Musical Instruments' category which will save me about $50 when I re-order.

The majority of my Cashrewards purchases are declined or not listed, I go through the click-through section to manually add them and they just refuse to honour most of the deals. I turn off add-blockers, make sure the items are not in cart beforehand and manually search the item after being routed via the CR website, it even shows up on the list but they claim that the items are never covered despite listing the category at 1.0%-3.5%.

I do it anyway because sometimes they do go through on cheap buys, but I even had once an email from Cashrewards telling me to spend $30+ on an order at Amazon, I got something for $29 & put another $2 item in cart, I was charged by Amazon in a single charge as one order/shipment. Despite Amazon listing it as a single order, Cashrewards split the two into different orders and did not payout. That's the only one that they ever agreed to fix.

Two times I purchased from Amazon at around $200 each, checked that they where covered categories, even if only 1.0%, both times they recognized the purchases as I had followed all correct steps, but rejected them anyway claiming that they were not covered. There is a component of our purchase decision that factors rebates, it is part of the price we are expecting to pay at the time of purchase, I am absolutely sick of cashrewards lack of follow-through, it comes close to false advertising.

    • I had the same experience with CR, small purchase tracked, big purchase missed, so ending up don't bother to use it.

    • I remember ages ago that they told me if you want it tracked you need to do it on your laptop/computer which I find ridiculous. Anytime there’s something I’m buying on amazon I find it easier just to use ShopBack. Are CASHREWARDS still too lazy to fix this problem up?

      • I might just use shopback from now on

  • Is it possible to combine with the first time app $10 off? Or are app purchases ineligible?

    • i don't think so as you don't get re-directed to the amazon app after clicking through cashrewards

      • That's what I thought too, though was wondering if there was a way I didn't know about :)

  • Camera 4.00 %
    Electronics 0.00 %

It does not make sense. Camera is a sub-category of Electronics (at least the cameras that I looked at), so is it 0% or 4%? Can any CR associate clarify?

  • do amazon purchases track instantly?

    • it finally tracked. i thought cr had switched things up since my last order with dm tracked instantly.
