I don't have Justin guitar courses, but I watched his youtube videos and I have the 3 months free-trial for Fender Play. I'm a beginner guitar, playing as a hobby.
Personally, and your experience may differ, I am learning a lot more from watching Justin's online video. The fender play is good and structured and I can see how it would build your foundations more, but i feel like I got similar experience from watching youtube videos.
Also, the fenderplay songs that I have seen are not full versions (e.g. every breath you take from the Police stops just before the bridge - my guess is that's because the bridge uses a different chord progression with Eb. But it shouldn't have been marked as learning to play the song…)
Again, personal opinion but I am struggling to justify paying the annual subscription fees even with 50% off.
i'm somewhere between a beginner and a novice and been using Justin (with his paid app) and looking for something new to try. I may aswell try the free trail of Fender, also heard good things about guitartricks
